Pop star and Icon, Michael Jackson was pronounced dead Thursday, June 25th, after being rushed to a Los Angeles hospital after falling into a coma.

According to the Los Angeles Times:

Capt. Steve Ruda said paramedics responded to a call at Jackson’s home around 12:26 p.m. He was not breathing when they arrived. The parademics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center.

Website TMZ reported that “Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived. A cardiologist at UCLA tells TMZ Jackson died of cardiac arrest.”

Jackson, a singing and dancing star who found fame at an early age as a member of The Jackson 5, went on to record the best-selling album of all time, 1982’s Thriller. The “King of Pop” starred in the music video for the title track, a 14-minute mini movie filled with heavily choreographed dancing zombies and other horror staples.

Jessica Alba, former star of Dark Angel and Fantastic 4, has confirmed she is pregnant… and now engaged! The super-celebrity was spotted around town this week sporting a magnificent new engagement ring shortly after announcing that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend, Cash Warren, by next Summer.
Jessica’s publicist, Brad Cafarelli confirmed the news earlier this week, however no other details on the upcoming wedding were available at this time.

Alba and Warren have been noted as one of Hollywood’s hottest couples since 2004, where they met on the set of The Fantastic Four where Warren was a director’s assistant.

How will this play out with Jessica Alba’s hot hot hot production schedule? No word yet, but the starlet has a number of projects in the works including the The Love Guru, opposite Mike Myers and Justin Timberlake. Alba is also scheduled to star in the sequel to Sin City, The Eye, and the Broadway debut of Speed-the-Plow by David Mamet.
