A 5.03 lb boy, Knox Leon, and a 5 lb girl, Vivienne Marcheline, were delivered by Cesarian section to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on Saturday night. The operation took place at Lenval hospital, in Nice, southern France.
Angelina arrived at the clinic via rooftop helicopter and sources report a later date was scheduled for the birth of the twins, but was moved up for “medical reasons.” No further details have yet been released but we are assured all are doing well. Angelina and the babies are expected to remain in the hospital for a few more days.
The Jolie-Pitt family are expected to remain in France for the time being, having already moved into their newly leased estate, Miraval, in the French hamlet of Correns.
Jolie and Pitt already have four children: Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2- the newborn twins, Knox and Vivienne, will make 6 children for the couple.
Eva Longoria Parker gave a quick interview this week on Billy Bush’s radio show. She had graciously stepped away from the inspection of the new Malibu house, where she and hubby are “moved in for the Summer… pending inspection.” When asked why she and Tony weren’t trying to start a family yet, Eva responded, “Who says we aren’t? We’re not trying not to- we’re just leaving it up to god.”
I for one, can’t wait to see what they name this child… since Apple is already taken.
Both OK! and Star magazines claimed Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were married in a secret ceremony at a chapel in the city’s French Quarter. The curious folks at People magazine now say it’s not true and even Brad’s representative reportedly offered an unpromising, “I have no idea.”
So did they, or didn’t they? I, for one, would be disappointed. Afterall, it was only a year ago that Brad told Esquire magazine that he and Angelina would not marry until all Americans could marry- an admirable stand in the debate over whether same-sex marriages should be legal.
On a different note- am I the only one that noticed… 1 tabloid on Brad and Angelina’s supposed wedding, surrounded by a good dozen of Jennifer Aniston with new hot boyfriend, John Mayer! Now that’s got to at least give Jennifer a tickle.

Cameron Diaz and John Mayer- how cute! The couple have been hitting the town together and seen cozying up around New York, including an intimate dinner at Lafayette Street’s, Indochine.
A fellow diner said: “They were very playful and cozy. They drank cocktails and lingered over dessert.”
