Reality TV Pays!

Christmas Jones | Hollywood Insider | Tuesday, 21 August 2007

Christopher Knight and Adrianne Curry Reality TV pays and apparently pays well at a reported $10,000 to $25,000 per episode! And that’s just an average- Big Brother, will guarantee participants at least 50 grand per season and many of the shows cover housing and clothing costs as well as many other perks (check out that 3.5 carat engagement ring purchased by the producers of The Bachelor with a hefty $75,000 price tag.)

But wait, there’s more… (no this is not a Ginsu knife commercial)
The real money comes rolling in with after-deals- record and modeling contracts, acting jobs, and endorsement deals. Did you catch Jenna on “The Animal” after her appearance on Survivor? Or that dodo on “The View” (like I need to say her name.) If you’ve ever watched “The Bachelor” and wondered why those women would want to be played on national television… look at their bank statements.
