Nicole Richie finally confirms her pregnancy with rocker boyfriend, Joel Madden, in an exclusive interview with ABC News’ Diane Sawyer this coming Thursday and Friday, August 2nd, and 3rd. The 25 year old mom to be will also be featured in an “exclusive” with OK magazine this week discussing her plans as a new mom.

“Yes, I am. We are. I’m almost four months,” Richie says. She also talks about fellow celebrities, including Paris and Lindsay, to name a few.

In an effort to put court dates and legal issues to rest as quickly as possible, Richie plead guilty last Friday to driving under the influence of drugs last December on a Los Angeles freeway. Richie received the minimum sentencing for her offense of only 4 days jail time, not including a six hours time served. The judge also ordered Richie to be placed on three years of probation and 21 days of drug and alcohol classes along with a $2,048 fine. While dates for the 25 year olds jail stint have not yet been released, it is known that she has until September 28th to complete her jail term.

“I have a responsibility and it’s something that I did wrong, and if I could personally apologize to every single person that has lost a loved one from drunk driving I would,” Richie told Sawyer. “And unfortunately I can’t, but this is my way of paying my dues and taking responsibility and being an adult.”

Richie and 28 year old Madden have been dating for over six months and rumors are in the air that the couple are planning on getting hitched later this summer. For now, the couple are living quietly together in Madden’s Glendale, California home.

How does soon-to-be grandfather, Lionel Richie feel about all this? According to recent comments, very supportive! “Especially in the case of Nicole, it’s not only her dad and mom involved, but half of the world,” Lionel said. “So it’s a bit of a challenge. So I told her, ‘Just enjoy the ride and take your time. Whatever you want to do, just make sure it’s the right decision, make the decision and roll with it.’ If that does happen, you have a husband now and you have a baby now, so whenever that goes, it’s going to be wonderful.”

The divorce is final today, between Brittney Spears and Kevin Federline. According to sources, Spear’s and K-Fed’s attorney’s presented a Los Angeles County Superior Court judge with final settlement papers for signing, making the divorce final.

Spear’s attorney, Laura Wasser, is filing a motion to keep the custody and spousal support orders private. To date however, Federline has been receiving $20,000 a month in spousal support from Spears, as well as $15,000 in child support. Spousal support for K-Fed is due to come to a halt in November in accordance with the couple’s prenuptial agreement.

As for custody of their two children, the judge awarded a 50/50 custody split, regardless of Spear’s recent behavior including a brief recovery in rehab. Reportedly, neither are happy with the custody decision and both have the option to return to court to appeal the ruling.

In addition, sources say Kevin is refusing to speak to Spears and plans to be back in court within the week to start the custody appeal. Is the public behind K-Fed? A recent poll of over 150,000 people asked “Who’s Worse as a Parent?” A whopping 83% said Brittney, while only 17% said K-Fed was the more unfit parent of the two.

Lindsay Lohan might be wearing an alcohol monitoring tag but that doesn’t stop the actress from partying… or from snagging a new man! Lindsay Lohan and Criss Angel have been spotted together parting despite Lohan voluntarily wearing a bulky SCRAM monitoring device that measures alcohol consumption. Cameron Diaz’s ex, Criss Angel was seen holding hands with Lohan at Pure nightclub in Las Vegas on Saturday. The “Mean Girls” star and the 39-year-old magician left the nightclub together at 5 a.m. Witnesses claim they headed back to Lohan’s hotel suite.

21-year-old Lindsay voluntarily checked herself into rehab after she crashing her car into a curb and was arrested on DUI charges. She was recently released but has agreed to wearing the ankle device 24 hours a day.

Angel is currently in a messy divorce battle with estranged wife Joanne Sarantakos. Sarantakos has accused Angel of cheating on her with actress Cameron Diaz. Recent reports have also sited Criss Angel with Paris Hilton.
